Frontier Airlines recently announced the release of their GoWild summer pass for an introductory rate of $399.00. Some of the travel groups I follow on social media have been bumping with questions about the fine print and whether or not this is a good deal. In the midst of winter and if you’re a student, in school, it might be easy to romanticize your summer as one of travel and experience between your summer job hours. I read the terms and will give you the highlights so you can decide whether or not you should fly all summer with Frontier.

My Thoughts:
The GoWild pass seems realistic for a student or someone with a flexible schedule. I think any traveler is itching for an all you can fly deal that works for them. However, it has to be remembered, with Domestic flights only booked a day in advance, these should be seen more like one-way flights. You will not be able to book a return flight utilizing the GoWild pass until a day before that flight’s departure, which doesn’t guarantee a seat. If you’re ultra-flexible, have been itching to go to Europe, and are a light packer, maybe this deal is for you. I like a little more planning time with my travel, though.
Frontier regularly runs deals on domestic flights down to as low as $19.00. With the GoWild pass, you will pay $399.00, 1 cent for each flight, and the taxes for the flight (about $15.00 within the U.S.).
